This 68-unit rental apartment building was designed with a focus on sustainability, energy performance, and budget efficiency. The design uses a balcony structure independent of the main building to achieve high thermal performance through continuous exterior insulation. The balcony structure is expressed as a series of angled 'pilasters', which provide exterior storage spaces for the residents, create solar shading , and composes a unique façade expression.
